• Stadmakercongres 2018

      [:nl]Tijdens het vijfde stadmakerscongres stonden de stadslab in de spotlights. Onder de noemer `De waarde van Rotterdamse Stadslabs`is er gezamenlijk met het stadmakers, ambtenaren, bestuurders en politici gekeken naar de resultaten en leerervaringen van een brede stadmakerspraktijk in Nederland en hoe we deze praktijk structureel kunnen verankeren in de werk- en planningsprocessen van de stad in een tijd waarin de stad groeit, er volop gebouwd en geïnvesteerd wordt. Aan het eind van de ochtend is er het ‘Rotterdamse pamflet voor het inclusieve stadmaken’ (door Robbert de Vrieze, Hugo Bongers en Beitske Boonstra ism de stadslabs in Rotterdam) aangeboden aan wethouder Barbara Kathmann (Economie, Wijken en Kleine Kernen). Parallel is er een motie door Groenlinks , D66 en de CU ingediend bij de gemeenteraad om stadslab te verankeren in politieke en bestuurlijke processen van het stadmaken. Update 14-11-18: Deze motie  is inmiddels aangenomen.[:en]During the fifth city makers' congress, living labs were in the spotlight. Under the heading `The value of Rotterdam Living Labs', the city makers, civil servants, administrators and politicians together looked at the results and lessons learned of the broad urban design practice in the Netherlands and how we can embed this practice structurally in the planning processes of the city. At the end of the morning, the 'Rotterdam pamphlet for inclusive city making' (by Robbert de Vrieze, Hugo Bongers and Beitske Boonstra in cooperation with the living labs in Rotterdam) was presented to alderman Barbara Kathmann (Economy, Districts and Small Cores). In parallel, a motion has been submitted by Groenlinks, D66 and the CU to the council to anchor the practice of living labs in the political and administrative processes of citymaking.
