Stadslab Maashaven meeting

On Tuesday, 2^nd of October there was the # 5 Living lab Maashaven meeting in the Maassilo with a high turn-out of people from various backgrounds; from entrepreneur to youth worker, from inhabitant to planner. Stadslab is about informing, sharing information and connecting. A lot is happening around the Maashaven! There are large and small scale initiatives/projects. Various initiators are working on the future of this area.

In a workshop setting more than 40 participants worked with four themes (Meeting, Education, Activation and Jobs); all from their own background and interests. The themes have been deepened, short-term activities and focus points for the long-term have been defined.

Concrete results are: a local employment agency and a permanent exhibition space on a ship in the Maashaven. These examples speak for the active attitude of the living lab and are certainly worth exploring.
